SUN REAL is the major provider of stand alone and grid connected power systems in the North East of Victoria. Our work is highly regarded within the industry and has been described as the "best seen in Victoria" by our accreditation body, the Clean Energy Council.

The quality of our installations and customer support are also highly regarded by our clients who have for many years been our primary source of referrals.

News

So much has changed in the industry since our last update. Our industry, and our business, have gone from small to substantial: Solar power has entered the mainstream. There were less than 600 accredited installers when we gained our qualifications. Now there are over 3000, mostly grid-connect, install only and many of whom have done only minimal training.

Whilst we do a lot of grid-connect systems, we continue to operate in the same way we always have - providing high quality systems with real backup and proper warranty support - so we are not in the race to do the cheapest possible installations.

About us

SUN REAL was founded in January 1995 by Martin Nichol and Richard Morton to offer a high quality alternative to the often prohibitive costs of connecting to mains power in rural areas. We take an active role in the industry and are constantly developing and refining our design and installation methods.

We offer other products and services either as an adjunct to our power systems, i.e. low energy refrigeration, or to fulfil the demand for products such as solar hot water which are not well supported by traditional suppliers in the region.
